It's Time For Renewed Vision!

December 28, 2018

Churches have a life cycle just like we do - they are born and sometimes they die as well.  In the beginning, they experience excitement and growth. People, energy, and resources are drawn to the ministry like a magnet!  However, if renewed vision doesn’t come at some point then after while, churches can begin to decline - in small ways at first:

  • People don’t attend on Sundays as regularly as they used to

  • Worship services become predictable

  • Ministry events aren’t well supported and

  • People don’t seem to be getting baptized as frequently compared to the “good old days.”

Often these things start happening before most in the church recognize it.

One of the important things to keep in mind is that this is a normal experience!  Again - churches age over time just like we do and must make adjustments to maintain vitality.

Thankfully, one of the main things that helps revive and renew a church is a Godly VISION!  Proverbs 29:18 says in part, "Where there is no vision, the people perish."  And God has given our pastor a VISION to help guide us into a faithful future!

We are excited to share details of this vision with members of our church on Saturday, January 26, 2019 9:30AM.  We'll hear about an exciting and fresh vision for our church that will be inclusive of every generation.

We'll build on our history by innovating what we're good at to help bring glory to God!  Don't miss it!
