We're Hiring! (Paid Internship)

The Orita’s Cross Freedom School and the Johns Hopkins University Program in Racism, Immigration, and Citizenship (RIC) seek a part-time intern.
This person will coordinate K-12 education programming in conjunction with the core team of the Orita’s Cross Freedom School and a dedicated curriculum specialist.
The intern will also publish the school's monthly newsletter and work with RIC’s budget managers at Johns Hopkins to help provision school-age children, support families, and compensate vendors associated with Orita Cross’ School projects.
Basic experience with African and/or African diasporic history or cultural topics is required. Knowledge of online publishing, social media, and event planning preferred. Prior teaching experience not necessary. The term of the internship is from July 2021 to January 2022. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
