Pleasant Hope Takes On Turner Station!

On Saturday, June 5, 2021, members of Pleasant Hope Baptist Church's "walking church" enjoyed completing some laps around the track at the Sollers Point Multipurpose Center in Turner Station, Maryland. Turner Station is a historic African American community in Baltimore County. A number of Pleasant Hope members have roots here, including our First Lady and her family - many of whom still reside in "Turners" (as it's called by some).

Members of our church family are committing to walk together each Saturday morning throughout the summer (weather permitting) in order to strengthen our faith, fitness, and fellowship.

This Saturday, June 12, 2021, we will walk a portion of the Herring Run Trail. We'll meet at the intersection of Harford Road and Chesterfield Avenue. NEW TIME: We'll meet at 7:00AM in order to help beat the heat!

Check out some pictures of our last outing and make plans now to join us!
