Rev. Dr. Tamara E. Wilson

Rev. Tamara E. Wilson, D.Min. is a pastor, author, and community leader, who guided by faith, perseverance, and authenticity, uses her voice to empower, support, and enhance the lives of others. 

 

Dr. Wilson was licensed and ordained by the Enon Baptist Church, where she served as Assistant Minister before answering the call to establish the Nu Season Nu Day Church & Ministries, where she serves as Pastor. Through her consultancy, Journey Ministries, Inc., she empowers women to live their best lives by being their authentic selves. She has authored two books: The Journey to Self...Who Knows What a Woman Can be When She Is Free to Be Herself and 9 Weeks to Discovering, Becoming, and Being You.  

 

Dr. Wilson worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Baltimore City Public School system for 19 years. She is a very passionate advocate for the preservation, strengthening, and empowering of the African American community and is the Immediate Past Chair of the Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture. She is also a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, serving faithfully through the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter. 

 

Dr. Wilson holds degrees from the University of Maryland at College Park, St. Mary’s Seminary and University, and United Theological Seminary. 

 

Dr. Wilson is married to Deacon Ernest Wilson, Jr. and is the proud mother of Morgan and Kristen; and grandmother to Zekai and Rabiah.
